the snake in the boot has a nice sturdy squeak and it remains somewhat defended by the boot so i think the toy overall will last a long time. our dog often shreds new toys, but he absolutely loves this weird boot toy and takes great care of it. the snake part has a loud squeak and then a higher pitched squeak in the boot. i’m not sure if it’s the double squeaker, the size or texture of the toy, or the “snake” in the boot, but nathan the dachshund cannot get enough of this toy. he gets many toys (too many), but he always goes back to this one and his lamb chop. love that it has 2 squeakers and it is just too cute. we gave it to him for xmas and it still holding up and he is still loving it.
