also don’t like the middle pieces that come completely loose from the puzzle. all in all i was very disappointed in this puzzle. it is so much fun to watch him work at opening all the compartments. i love the fact that after refilling it several times he is almost always ready for a nap. i can’t wait to try the next level after he masters this one. she did figure it out quickly and now can get all the treats in a couple of minutes. my dog likes puzzle toys, but did not enjoy this. she enjoys others but this was not user friendly enough for her to do the work to get her reward. i just put treats in it and she had no problem finding them. this is good for a dog thats not as inquisitive as mine. i wanted something that would keep her busy for a longer period of time. this puzzle is great if your dog is up to level 2 puzzles. if it requires her biting them at all, we’re done learning though as she’s never been one to use her mouth to force anything.
