i have several of these balls and she has yet to destroy one. unlike most toys, she has not killed one squeaker yet! since he naturally has a soft bite he can really go to town on these without destroying them. they last a long time- definitely over a year for our dog. our dog is a power chewer. he’s cherishing this extra large gnawsome squeaker ball so much it’s on day four. we have had one of these for almost a year. very recently we ordered two more because our dogs fight over who gets to play with it. this ball is a favorite of my pit-boxer. i bought the medium and its a perfect size. but she can bite down on it to make it squeak. you can’t pick the color which is a bummer… but fortunately i got the same color when i replaced the old one 🙂 so our pit bill has destroyed almost every toy we’ve given him within the first few hours… for some reason, this squeaky ball has lasted him almost a year! it feels soft enough that we figured it’d be gone in a couple minutes, but he plays hard with it and it’s still going strong! i got the larger size which does make it a little more difficult for her to hold but overall it’s awesome!
