the shar-pei was actually bred to be a rough and tumble dog who could guard the farm and sadly, hold his own in the fighting pits. this skin, with it’s folds and wrinkles is also a breeding ground for all sorts of nasty stuff, from yeast infections to moist skin issues. i bought this because frankly it reminded me of the watkins medicine i used on my pets years ago. it keeps his skin soft and helps to heal the inflammation from him scratching literally overnight.
