they have a full-body “honking” squeaker inside. unfortunately i did not read the dimensions on this squeak toy. it’s very tiny and i have 2 65 lbs rough collies and a sheltie. haha if you have a small to medium dog that loves their toys this is the one to buy! hoots owl squeaky plush toy is made to last for small dogs. he loves it and so do we. she had one before this and it vanished. anyway, this “baby” has been mia for a while and i think it bothered me more than her so i had to buy her another. she’s not a chewer so i can’t attest to the sturdiness of it.
i’d buy a gazillion of these things for her to have just in case she ever loses it again! this was bigger than what we thought we were getting, but that didn’t matter to our dog, she loves this and plays with it every day. i’m so glad i ordered the hoots owl squeaky plush toy!!! peaches loves it & is still playing & sleeping with it!!!! my did wouldn’t touch it. it’s hard, there’s no soft covering over the squeaker -the cover most be glued on one big squeaker… i have a small dog and he is usually very good with his toys. however, this one he had the fur tore off the body in 30 minutes. there is no stuffing in this toy as it is a hard body. one of them still picks it out and walks around squeking it sometimes we have a small english bulldog and this fits perfectly in her mouth and the squeak is one of the best in any toy you will find. she really gives it a work out numerous times each day and it has withstood the challenge well.
