my dogs would need 1 size larger, the medium if sized small also. i recently purchased this toy for my chihuahua. when it’s playtime, she choose to grab this toy over all the others. this toy is the perfect size for a small dog at a great price. the crinkles in this fuzz pig are excellent, and she can avoid the squeaker if she wants. it’s tough to get her a plushy she’s satisfied with, it’s got to squeeze *just right* etc, so i’m really happy with kong on this one. i can tell she likes it a lot because she takes it to bed. the toy squeaks & makes a crinkly noise, plus, the smallest size is the perfect size for my chihuahua. it has lasted a couple of months so far. i am hoping my boys get to snuggling with these rather than trying to chew off the feet. right now they went back on the shelf and i am looking for more true “chew toys” for their aggressive chomping, and as an alternative to feeding bully sticks.
