i have purchased a few of these in the past and they were very popular with some cats i take of, but this one smelled more like bug spray than catnip and was ignored. a few years ago, it would have been too big and “scary” for him, but he’s matured. not super-catnipy, but enough to entice him to approach and check it out. she seems like the kind of cat who would want to attack and kick it as she tries to do that with smaller toys like the yowee rainbow and banana. i thought she would appreciate a larger thing to attack but the sound it makes, and the size, intimidate her. love this pillow/brand so decided to get my kitties a few new ones. they make great pillows and also are sturdy enough to cuddle or do some bunny kicks. she took to it right away, kicking and scratching at it. we have had the kickeroo for several weeks and she continues to enjoy it.

it is really just a small pillow, with nothing that entices my cats. i added a lot of catnip to it, but there is nothing exciting about it. the cats don’t kick it. i am using fabric to try to make another toy., i have two kittens and one in particular loves it scratch and kick anything she cat get her little claws on. alas, after the initial kick, not 1 of the girls is interested. a quick sniff and they walk on by. my cat took to this kickeroo right out of the box. we had to put it back in the box and take it out again so we could get a video it was so much fun. this was a hit for us. main problem is nova is not interested in this toy at all.
