the second day we used it our dog managed to unlatch the bottom latch and squeeze his way out. that worked for a little over a week before our dog managed to paw at the latch enough to remove the carabiner and unlatch the door again. ample room for him to stretch out and sleep comfortably, or just sit in the crate and rest if he chooses. he’s five months old and growing like a weed but i believe we purchased the right size that will allow him to always be stretched out and comfortable as he grows. this kit is very sturdy, includes the divider and our new girl took to it immediately. the divider allows the solution to grow with her and while we won’t crate her at home when she grows up, it will travel with us when we visit family as needed. the rest of the kennel is intact and that is a miracle! this crate is a super value as it includes the pad which i’ve always had to buy separately … it unfolds easy and is sturdy.
