due to the pet food recall i decided to submit this recipe for other dog owners looking for a soft pet food alternative. i have used this way of feeding my dog for two weeks and i can already see a positive difference. this recipe is so good, and very similar to what i cook for my dog every evening. however, i am afraid to give a supplement to my pets because of the numerous recalls. i cook “patties” of veggies and meats to mix with our westie’s dry food, but this is definately a change for him. i am on a fixed income, so do not want to spend a lot of money on stuff from the vet to supplement. the first time i made it i followed the recipe exactly and mixed it with his kibble and my dog loved it. i made this recipe with carrots instead of mixed vegetables and put it in the blender, after cooking . i made this last week for my two mini dachshunds. when i originally was looking for a recipe though, this is a great base to start at!
