my cat loved this toy for about 5 mins. not worth the money not to mention the 3 c batteries have had these in the past and worked well. i bought this toy a few weeks ago for my kitten, missy, and she has already tore it up. the red thing she bit it off little by little and now she won’t play with it, if i could order replacement red sticks for it, she probably play with it, but now its just a piece of junk. so glad to see the cat’s meow was back in stock so i ordered it 2 days ago. was delivered this morning and our 3 fur babies that are 7 months old are having a blast with it!! all in all i would still recommend it. so much fun to watch them play with this!! previously purchased this item several years ago, but recently stopped working. when this toy works, my cats love it. the only problem is that as soon as i press the on button, it shuts right off. on the chase wand with red plastic on the tip is easily chewed off requires a replacement. i overall love the toy. i have had to make my own tip.
these cats need to be entertained or be distracted so you can do your chores and so that they won’t get on your nerves. i have purchased different kinds of toys for my large lazy cats, including a lot of interactive toys to keep them active and so that they won’t meow at me all the time. the cat’s meow toy undercover mouse interactive ($19.99) is really a surprising love for me and my cats. i think the concept of this toy started in japan, i could be wrong though. it works based on the concept of peek-a-boo, mouse hunt, and pouncing, which are the things that are basic instinct for a cat. this toy comes in 3 different kinds; the standard one which has only one speed, no remote, and no battery, the v4 rc that comes different speeds with timer, and a remote control, and the v4 rc plus battery which comes with the remote control, different speeds/timer, and a lithium battery for the toy. i’ve heard bad things about the v4 ones, with a lot of people claiming that their remotes are basically useless as you would still have to be close to the toy in order to control it. speaking of batteries, this standard cat’s meow toy runs in three c batteries of any brand, which could last for about 20-30 minutes with constant play.
