these toys are the ultimate, durable dental toy for your pet. i was hesitant to buy this since some of the reviews were hit and miss but this thing has stood up to the toughest chewing dog around! it smells fresh, the grooves in it are fun for him to chew on, and it’s a funky shape so it bounces around unpredictably (which he loves!) she has to work to get the treats out so it keeps her busy. my foster dog can’t figure out any treat toys but loves this toy anyway. we refer to this toy as george for obvious reasons, and he lives up to the hype. i will say the toy does have a distinctive smell—i wouldn’t say i have the best nose ever, but i know immediately when the dog brings it into the room. haven’t tried using it as a treat dispenser at all as my little dude has extreme food allergies and can only eat his prescribed kibble. only had it for a day or so but seems like it will hold up incredibly well. however and easy fix for it is just to cut out one or two of those flaps with some scissors! my pups dog food will come out but only with a little bit of work on his part!
looks and feels nice for dogs to chew but my dog has zero interest in the toy and never wants to chew it. my girl loves to chew and so far destroyed every toy except kong tires. she loves the smell and texture. it’s very hard rubber so it bounces around and is a great texture for chewing. the only con is the treat holder – the little flaps that cover it are so sturdy i don’t think any treats are gonna come out so i’m not gonna bother putting any in lol but that’s ok. my german shepard loves this little toy. this is well worth the money and i would buy it again. she saw the treats and the toy. the treads on the toy give her good enjoyment cause she is such an aggressive chewer. but this toy is the only toy she has not completely shredded into pieces! she plays with it multiple times a day and keeps her busy for long periods of time! so durable , i highly recommend this toy for avid/strong chewers!
