i started the program right at the start of the new year, and my overall goal was to get in better shape and lose some flub. i was an offensive lineman and played for about a year before deciding to move on from football for personal reasons. i think this is both a result of making my squat a priority on the program, becoming stronger, and figuring out that squats are always going to feel heavy but you just have to lift it anyway. each day focuses on one of the main movers (s/b/d/o). only rest as long as it takes to change the weights and drink some water. the only thing i would change is possibly using a training max. edit: forgot to mention that i used a spreadsheet to keep track of everything.







i ran a paid-for 12 week routine on a cut and made great gains. it is good hard work in a condensed workout and definately humbled me at the start. i didn’t run it until the end, because some life stufff got in the way. i just threw on what the spreadsheet said and hit for a single. i forgot to mention that in the op. i’m on wave 1, week 3 of darkhorse now and i’m loving it, but wondered if you had a quick pro/con review of both. been doing his conjugate template which is pretty similar to the 4 horsemen as i saw it.
